Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This privacy policy explains what information CalcSolver (itscalcsolver.com) collects, how it is used and the choices you have. The short version: the calculator works on your own device, we do not ask you to create an account, and we only receive personal information if you choose to contact us.

Information You Give Us

If you use our contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use this only to read and reply to your message. Messages are stored in our website’s admin area and sent to our inbox. We do not sell them, share them for marketing or add you to a mailing list. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.

To stop spam, the form uses a hidden field and briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for about one minute to limit repeat submissions. It is not stored with your message.

Information Stored on Your Device

To make the calculator more useful, CalcSolver saves a few settings in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us:

  • Your last 20 calculations (history)
  • Your scratchpad notes
  • Your preferences: degrees or radians, light or dark mode, and whether the scientific keys are open on a phone
  • The value in calculator memory (M+)
  • Your best scores in the math games

You can remove all of this by pressing Clear in History or Notes, or by clearing your browser’s site data for itscalcsolver.com.

Server Logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page visited and the time. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working, and are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.

Cookies

The calculator itself does not use cookies. WordPress, which runs this site, may set cookies only for logged-in site administrators. If advertising is shown on the site, the advertising partners described below may use cookies.

Advertising

CalcSolver may show ads served by Google AdSense to keep the site free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Analytics

We do not currently use analytics or tracking tools. If we add one in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.

Children’s Privacy

CalcSolver is designed to be used by students, including children, without creating an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal information through the contact form, please contact us and we will delete it.

Links to Other Websites

Our pages sometimes link to other websites, such as official exam calculator policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please read their policies when you visit them.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because the calculator data lives in your own browser, you control it directly and can delete it at any time.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
